Nestled in the heart of Selbitz, Gasthof Goldene Krone proved to be an ideal base for exploring the charming Upper Franconian countryside. The friendly staff warmly welcomed us, ensuring a smooth check-in process. The room, though a bit dated, was spacious, clean, and had a fresh coat of paint, offering a comfortable stay. The rustic restaurant served delicious meals, perfect for a taste of local cuisine. The decent breakfast provided a simple yet satisfying start to our days of cycling and hiking along the picturesque Bockpfeil trail. The free WiFi access and easy parking added convenience to our stay, making it a pleasant and memorable experience at this historic guest house under the Hagen family's direction.
